Smile Baby Social Welfare Organization is a non-governmental, non-political, and nonprofit voluntary organization.Md. Zahangir Alam, Founder and Executive Director of Smile Baby Social Welfare organization. He started his career in an international NGO, The Glenco Foundation. During his service in Glencoe Foundation he has developed empathy to underprivileged children,women, elderly and people with disability. In January 2021, he organized a group of people to form an organization to serve the people of Jashore regions and served the people through local charity donations and took registration from Department Social services. It has set up an office in Jashore town and serves the people of Jashore Pourashava and 8 other upazilas of Jashore districts.

The Mission of Smile Baby Social Welfare Organization to support underprivileged children and mother, disable and elderly people through healthcare, education, training and targeted interventions.through material support to improve their living status and ensure inclusion for main streaming.
Our vision
Smile Baby Social Welfare Organization envisions a discrimination free society where the underprivileged children and mother disable and elderly people enjoy healthy life with dignity and full potential.

Md.Zahangir Alam is Secretary and Executive Director of a NGO Named Smile Baby Social Welfare Organization at Jashore district in Bangladesh. The organization received registration from the Department of Social Welfare in 2022. The organization is working specially for pregnant mothers and children with disabilities also for the old health care and old home. In 2007 joined Operation Cleft as a Project Coordinator funded by Rotary club of Box Hill Central Melbourne Australia. Joined with The Glencoe Foundation Australia as a Country Director the Project Of Walk For Life Bangladesh until date of 2020. Joined with Rotary International in 2013 Rotary Club of Dhaka New City District 3281 Bangladesh President for Rotary year 2021-2022. Visited Australia in 2010 for fundraising and speaking 32 Rotary clubs in Australia for raising funds for clubfoot children. Under the project 30,000 children have been getting treatment. Traveling 14 th countries around the world for humanitarian work.Happyly married two Children’s one boy and One Girl.

What we Do
Our primary causes
During Covid 19 lockdown period, SHSKS provided food support to 50 Rickshaw puller and elderly People on August 1, 2021 with the support of Rotary Club of Dhaka New City
Nutritious Food support to Pregnant Mother:
In January 12, 2023, SHSKS distributed Nutritious Food Package to 20 poor pregnant Mothers of Reproductive Health Services Training and Education Program department of Jashore Sadar Hospital with the support of Rotary Club of Dhaka new City.
Shoe distribution to physically disabled children:
During the Year 2021-22, SHSKS provided shoes for disabled children as Assistive device to 10 physically disabled (club foot) children with the support of local donations.
Blanket distribution to Underprivileged People:
In December23, 2022, SHSKS distributed 40 blankets to 40 poor families of Satighata Village of Jashore Sadar Upazila Under Jashore districts with the support of Rotary Club of Dhaka new City.
In January 12, 2023, SHSKS distributed 30 blankets to 30 poor families of Jashore Pouroshava of Jashore districts with the support of Queens Hospital, Jashore
